I took some photos on West 7th yesterday morning and noticed, as I was driving back into downtown on Lancaster, that all of the windows had been replaced (at least they all looked brand-spanking new) on the Thrifty Nickel building and they were installing some exterior window shades on the building.

We looked at this building about a year ago -- interesting history, worth reading some of the captions for the images.
