That would be a nice redo. It does feel out of place since the Bowie. I wonder what incentive CVS could have to do anything at all. It appears to be busy most of the time.

Hopefully, the not so distant future we will see CVS, McDs, and the very old office suites adjacent to McDs developed.

That’s nice! Also, Caddy corner there is the homiest Chase bank branch I’ve ever seen.

It reminds me of the building on Magnolia with The Watch Preserve and Grand Cru. In my youth, Chase banks are new builds that use the sleek, modern hotel aesthetic.

Nitixope, I like both the new development and the Chase Bank inside an older building on the opposite corner.

I took a friend from out of town to Bowie House last weekend. It’s an absolutely gorgeous hotel. The attention to detail is spot on - down to the cocktail napkins. We spent our time mostly in the bar and lobby area. The hallway leading to the Billet room was closed for a private event. It was raining so we didn’t have a chance to walk out to the pool area. The drinks and bar food are certainly not after thoughts. The wood bar restored and bought from an auction is impressive. Overall, the bar area leading into the restaurant felt communal, like you could strike up a conversation easily with folks near you.

I was hoping to check out the underground parking, but you have to valet your car.

I've been curious to make a visit for a drink or two but was curious if there was there a fee for valet (and if so, how much) or just tip?

It was 11 bucks after tax. But on their website it does says “Complimentary parking until 5PM for restaurant patrons, then $10”.

I have parked in the CVS lot multiple times and am definitely not the only one. At some point I assume CVS will get tired of that and post signs. Not interested in paying $10 to valet if I'm meeting someone for a drink.

I'm pretty positive that tow sign first appeared while Bowie House was being constructed to dissuade construction workers from parking in the CVS lot
