Hello! My name is Jimmie and I will be asking questions as to why you use TRE! This research will be used to make Jane and John Doe Profiles to help me re design a website for a school project! My questions for you all are....

 

Who uses the Trinity Railway Express? (Ex: Teens, Business men, and etc...)

 

What do you use the Trinity Railway Express for? (Ex: For work or to visit family?)

99% of my TRE usage comes from events at the AAC, usually Dallas Stars games. Ive used it two or three times just for leisure trips to Dallas and once to get to the Fair.

So, for me (20s Male), its for getting to entertainment.

Same:  To the AAC for sporting events.

Also, I've done it a few times with my bicycle to ride over in Dallas.

Hi, Jimmie. I take the TRE every time I go to central Dallas (several times a year). I generally go to Dallas for leisure purposes (meetups; the State Fair, parades, etc.).

 

The reason I ride it: I don't want to fight Dallas traffic or deal with parking.

 

I'm a 20s male. I often see people about my age (give or take a decade) riding it for leisure.

 

People across all working ages use it to commute to work. Commuters who work in the downtowns of Fort Worth and Dallas used to pack TRE trains. But, the pandemic has drastically reduced that demographic. There are also commuters who work in the Dallas Medical District who ride it.

 

TRE trains and parking lots are no longer full on weekdays like they were pre-pandemic.

What do you use the Trinity Railway Express for? (twice per year, probably more post-pandemic)

 

Why do you use Trinity Railway Express? (easy and convenient access to state fair or downtown Dallas for events at AAC, Perot Museum, Aquarium, Arts District. We'll ride from the T&P station taking advantage of their park and ride lot)
