If you have an online subscription to FWBP (which I don't) to read this opinion piece, please briefly summarize it, if you care to.  I'm curious as to why NY Times believes Euless is the best place to live.  Nothing against Euless, but elsewhere in America I've visited some pretty nice towns.

Here's a WFAA story that's not behind a paywall and has a photo of the chart from the NYT article: https://www.wfaa.com...a5-288d251ac142

There were a number of criteria measured and Euless scored the highest.  I haven't found much detail on what was measured, but I'm sure the jobs available at the airport and their very diverse population and available housing options contributed.  The large Glade Parks development (retail, apartments, and single family homes) is in Euless, Founders Parc is a new redevelopment of one of the older parts of the city, HEB schools have a good reputation and one of the more affluent parts of the city north of Harwood is part of Grapevine Colleyville ISD, they have a popular golf course.  It's easy to discount Euless ranking so high, but it checks off a lot of boxes.

It's also worth noting that 7 of the 10 cities on the list are suburbs of Fort Worth and Dallas.

Better-than-average police force too, although not devoid of crime and problems.

When that rink first opened nearly 20 years ago, I went to a Stars open practice there on a weekday morning.  I had been to one game at Reunion and sat in the rafters.  It was eye opening to observe the intensity of pro hockey from the ice level and this was just a practice.

Bojangles in Euless is about done. I tried it once in Tennessee, was OK nothing special, another fried chicken place. I think this is first of its kind in the region with two other locations set to open in June and July.

Yep.  Very generic as far as chicken goes.

I was driving through Euless and decided to grab my usual salad at Salad and Go, with about 6 people waiting but the line moves fast.  I noticed over at the new Bojangles they had maybe only 1 car go through the line every couple of minutes.  I wonder if they are just have really quick service or if the food is not that interesting?  Most places around noon, you'd expect at least a handful a cars in line.  Reviews seemed mixed.  The BoBerry Biscuits looked good but I probably shouldn't.  Has anyone tried this location yet?
