I saw this estate sale listing pre-announcement and thought it might be a rare opportunity to see this property. (Follow them on Facebook for upcoming details)

I kept thinking this one might show up on Zillow Gone Wild.  There was a crazy house from Fort Worth on there in December and another from Southlake last week.

I know a few of the estate sale businesses in the area and one of the most memorable ones was with When Pigs Fly.  We happened to be up in McKinney I think we were car shopping or something and we decided on a whim to check out this sale at a nicer home.  I pulled up sort of in front of the house on the street and noticed people carrying rather large amounts of stuff out the door, like they had just looted a store on Black Friday.  I casually get out of the car and walk toward the house this lady comes from Pigs Fly and says "Everything's free.  It's all gotta go now.  Take what you can use, donate the rest to charity."  Apparently, the client was the seven adult children of a woman who had passed away and they had of course gathered anything they wanted to keep and had sold about as much as they'd find useful for closing out the estate and generously felt like giving away the rest to those who'd shown up was a lot easier than dealing with it themselves or through some sort of donation pickup service.  I was able to get a few smaller keepsake items, a neat old wooden bill box (just the box of course), a remarkably old plush rabbit that seemed like it had a ton of character and history to it and some little odds and ends.
