I've just seen this and it seems like it will be a tremendous resource. It's a map system which shows the locations of all Downtown Design Review Board, Historic

and Cultural Landmarks Commission, and Urban Design Commission cases. With some cases, such as 1,000 Weatherford, you can click "more info" and download a pdf with a packet of more details. Judging by "test" in the title I guess it's brand new, but hopefully sticks around.

Check it out - http://cfw.maps.arcg...6f6ab1542fca765

Some interesting items to check out are the brewery proposed in the Mule Barns in past HCLC cases and the 1,000 Weatherford case. There is one error though, the demolition case for the Ellis Pecan building shows an image of the Public Recreation building.

This is nice that the city is doing this.  I hope that it does stick around.  I have seen all of the HCLC cases because HFW usually speaks regarding all landmarked buildings.

It appears zoning cases are appearing on the map now too.

I noticed that too. Still waiting for them to publish the full docket.

Kinda glancing through the cases I encountered one that was quite odd I thought... looks like they want to turn the area east of target up to the train tracks into mixed-use.  Some commercial and residential?

That caught my eye too

Revised Site Plan to allow multifamily residential uses to compliment the existing retail plaza.

Yeah I have been in that parking lot several times and thought to myself that there is some much unused parking in the middle that a residential building that complimented the Montgomery Ward building would work great there

Jeriat, was this something you just found or is this an older plan that I was not aware of?

Here's a placeholder for an interesting project.  It is still in temporary listing mode so I can't see the address yet.  I will move / add it to the appropriate thread when available:

Urban Design Commission Filing 10/27/23

This application requests reduction of Urban Forestry minimum preservation requirement from 25% to 4%. Urban Forestry Phase I & II plans are included with this application.

Project Description:
7-story multi-family building with ground floor retail space and parking garage.

It's Westbend South, I'll post the filing over in that thread.
