I'm thinking about upgrading the forum to version 4.0 over the weekend.  That means that the board may be down for a while from Friday until Sunday.  It should be a fairly easy upgrade, but if things go wrong, then the board could be down.  I just wanted to let everyone know that this is coming.

Here's hoping for no forum problems, though it won't be an issue for me since I will be in Florida this weekend.

I tried to upgrade the forum over the weekend and I failed.  I backed up the entire thing before I tried the upgrade, and I had to restore it back to the server.  I will continue to work on the upgrade this week.

After the forum is upgraded, there is a chance that all of you might have trouble logging in.  They have changed the way your name shows up.  A few of you have your username, or log-in name being different than your display name (how you appear on the board).  Everyone will be keeping their display names.

With more than two weeks of trying to upgrade this forum software, it has been discovered that there are problems with my host and I can't upgrade the forum.  I had tech support from InvisionBoard and my host, plus myself working on this. Anyway, everything had a backup and I restored the forum back to the way it was on July 15th.
