I wanted to come but I just couldn't swing it.  I had a meeting that extended into the lunch hour and, even if it hadn't, I planned on skipping lunch to leave at 2:00 to get ready for a couple of big family events this weekend.  I still didn't manage to get out of work until after 3:30.

The August Forum Meeting is scheduled for this Friday.  Is there going to be enough interest to have one, since it is a holiday weekend?

Look around for us.  A few newcomers have come and we have missed them because they didn't know us.  Things have been busy at the office, so I'm betting that I will be arriving right at 12.

Probably the last forum meeting of the year will be this Friday at Benito's between 11:45 and Noon.  It's hard to schedule one on the last week of November and December due to the holidays.  However, if someone wishes to meet on a Friday in Early December, that could be possible.

It looks as if I may be eating by myself.  This is actually OK, because I had blood tests done and I had to fast this morning. In anticipation of today's lunch, I only snacked this morning, so I'm hungry.  I may have migas, since I didn't have breakfast.

Is there any reason not to do a forum lunch next Friday?  I mean, Thanksgiving is early this year, so next Friday is still November.

I was thinking the same thing.  Since Thanksgiving was early, we could meet next Friday, November 30 at Benito's.

We had a small group today.  Austin55 and Doohickie joined me, and we had two of my bike riding buddies as guests.  They were Phil Moore and Tommy Simmons.  The two of them lurk on the forum from time to time.

We usually skip December.  However, I am taking a few days off for Christmas, so I could run down to Benito's for lunch.  My long weekend starts on Friday, and I'm not returning to work until Wednesday.  I'm also taking off New Year's Eve.

Austin, you actually pitched for tomorrow.  I will be at Benito's around 11:45, since I have the day off.  I am not off on the 28th.  That weekend, I'm taking Monday, so I can have one last long weekend off at New Year's.

I just wanted to put out another post stating that we will have a forum meeting on Friday, December 21 for those who can make it.  We will meet at 11:45 at Benito's to celebrate bringing in the Winter Season!

I'm definitely doing it today.  I will be at Benito's if anyone wants to join me for lunch.  I have today through Christmas off, so it will be a nice break for me.  I also won't be in any hurry.
