Fort Worth's far east side has always been more about trees than houses and commerce.  But more residential development appears on the way.  FWBP article.

It would be nice if they could do like in Austin, and only remove the trees directly in the way. Instead of scraping the ground.  Agree or not, some of those trees are centuries-old living beings.

Yeah its sad that they make little effort to save some trees but I also know that to get the highest return you have to build on as much of the acquired land as possible. It such a double edged sword
