The Fort Worth City Council has voted to repair the FWWR crossing at W. Berry & Cleburne Rd.  This repair has been needed for quite some time.  The Fort Worth Report has the story.

I know a few times I suspect that I came close to damaging my car at this railroad crossing, along with the one to the north along Cantey Street.

I'm surprised I don't hear more about accidents associated with this crossing (people suddenly braking, etc.). I actually got into an unrelated accident in this area (another person's brakes malfunctioned and I got T-boned).

I will agree with you.  I drove my car over the W. Cantey crossing over the weekend to check out the construction at the Forest Park Pool and I had to be real careful when driving over the crossing.

I don't recall these crossings being bad, but there is new asphalt at the railroad crossings on/near Lipscomb St just south of Elizabeth/Page Ave.
