So this is the Heart of the Ranch area that they were rezoning a while back?

I think it is for Meeting House, grading permit is for 2.4 disturbed acres which lines up with the final plat FP-22-011 above showing 4814 as 2.36 acres. That plat shown above as # 4800, isnt that where they have the Farmers Market and port-a-johns?

The Tradition with stormfront rolling in late May 2022.  You can tell which direction the wind was blowing that day based on the flag and the tower cranes themselves.

The tower crane for the shorter building at The Tradition is coming down today.  It looks like the taller building is close to being topped out.

Noticed that while taking a walk on the trail the other evening. Also the white stone/concrete material it will be clad in is starting to go up on the northeast corner.

Nitixope, did you notice site-clearing started at the "meeting house" site? Still curious as to what exactly they are doing there.

No, I missed that because I was heading towards downtown but I took the low water crossing right before Press Cafe and headed back south(ish) along the other side of the river on the crushed limestone trail making my way to Art's Park and back.  I'll take a look this weekend and grab a photo on my next ride.

Here's my photos of the Meeting House jobsite.  It's interesting on the side of the Spawglass (general contractor) trailer, notice the name "Keith House" on the business partner sign.  I'm not sure if they are calling this the Keith House or if this is referring to Keith House the owner of the Fixe Southern House restaurant at Clearfork.  Project end date of: 6/2/2023

Tradition Update 9/30/22:

Look at that ad!  "Complete Electric Reliability with Natural Gas Generators"

They do realize that in the midst of winter storms like we had, the gas company isn't going to guarantee they'll have enough gas to supply those generators non-stop.  Certainly for life safety needs, they won't guarantee a 10-second start-up time on something that big.  There are generators that size that can start up within 10-seconds but that doesn't exclude gas delivery issues in the dead of winter.

Can backup generators at a facility this large include on-site gas storage in case of gas supply interruption?

Can backup generators at a facility this large include on-site gas storage in case of gas supply interruption?

No, they wouldn't store natural gas onsite.  I've seen diesel stored onsite for emergency back-up systems but in an extended outage, they'd burn through that rather quickly.  There's butane and propane generators in other smaller applications but these would likely be very large natural gas gens with a very large gas supply line.  I would be interested to know how advanced their acute care nursing facility is.  Some of those facilities are set-up like a rehab hospitals with full-on patient rooms, headwalls etc.  I would think that section of the facility takes priority over running TV's and small appliances in the senior living section.  The biggest consumption if they have a storm outage would be keeping the heat and AC running.  The thing to keep in mind is that natural gas and propane generators don't create as much power as diesel generators.  When push comes to shove, I'd be willing to bet the generators feed the essential stuff like heating AC, lighting, elevators, kitchen etc. unless they have 2 or 3 of these generators onsite.  The other question would be: are the tenants contractually obligated through their lease to cover excessive utility consumption?  If they run 2 or 3 huge generators for 3-days straight in a storm outage, I would assume the gas bill gets divided up equally and billed back to the tenants?  Could you imagine the cost of running those generators for more than a couple of hours at a time?

By the way, here's a live view of the site:

I wonder if this'll function more like an art museum open to the public, or a private event venue, or something different.
