If you ever biked along the Trinity River near Press Cafe, you likely crossed paths with a gentleman carrying a camera and walking stick. That was Gordon C. Henry, a local photographer, educator, avid walker and friend to many. I noticed Gordon's absence these past several months during my evening rides and finally took the time to figure out that he passed away back in November 2021. My rides weren't complete without stopping and chatting with Gordon for a bit, talking birds, photography, Fort Worth history, and just about every other topic imaginable. I posted Gordon's obituary along with a link to his photography page. Interesting to note that he and Ed Bass were at Yale around the same time and Ed would always say hi to Gordon in passing at Stock Show events and ask Gordon to take his photo. Gordon was especially proud of having one of his bird photos selected to be made into a mosaic on the Chisholm Trail Parkway Bridge (https://www.gordonch...Parkway-Bridge/).
