This will be a major building at this location.   The 215' height puts it 3 feet shorter than the Sinclair Building with its new rooftop extension.

It does contain elements of the Sinclair Bldg which is why I really love the design.  It feel very Fort Worth.  The designers gave it a lot of thought within the context of FW architecture.

In the presentation the architect showed several examples of Fort Worth buildings that influenced the design. Its very thoughtful and uses high end materials. This will be a very luxurious development.

I really hope this one makes it out of the ground, it will really contribute a lot to downtown's aesthetic plus that's a lot of new residential units.

Erosion barrier is up at the site.

At last year's meeting, the developer said they wanted to break ground q1 2023, and here we are.

Hopefully this one will get going soon!

Hopefully it's happening. Would be cool to see another new residential tower go up downtown on the heels of 969 commerce.

Funny, I was going to post this on Tues but got busy and didn't have a chance to.  Fingers crossed that this moves forward

I feel like a similar barrier was up at the development by the Kimbell for years before they actually began construction. Hopefully this will not be the case here.

You do have a point there.  However I don't think any solid plans were actually planned for the site; just a lot of concepts and proposals.

Looks like the Q1 groundbreaking didn't happen... now Q2 is almost over and still no announcement.  Starting to lose some optimism.

As Im sure you know, many planned development projects are having to wait (if they are able to) for construction loan rates to drop, or other numbers to fall in line.

I'd assume that (interest rates) are the single largest factor putting pressure on starting new development right now.  Even more than the much higher construction costs.

I also hope this gets built.  I particularly like how the door meets the street/sidewalk.

Yeah I kinda figured that has put the brakes on several speculative projects.

A big bummer if this doesn't happen and it sounds like it's not looking good. I loved the design of it.
