Dustin the Greenwood Mausoleum is a striking structure. It was built in 1961 and won some recognition from the Texas Society of Architects (John R would know more about this)
Here is a link to the architect

I agree. With all the history and downtown Fort Worth in the background, I will make it my last stop. The place always overwhelms me when I attend services there or visit the family gravesites.

I admit that I've always noticed but never seen this building up close but paid a visit recently and just found it to be incredible. Really a gem. Some interesting drawings and photos of the building can be found here . It won the Texas Society of Architects Award of Honor for Distinguished Architecture in 1961. Harwell Hamilton Harris was the architect, since that appears to have been lost to dead links in above posts.

I find it interesting that JST Architects specializes in design services for the death care industry. That is certainly a uniquely niche market but one that is often overlooked and underappreciated side of architecture.
