Not a lot here, but there was a quick blurb in the linked article that Standard Hotels is planning a Bunkhouse-branded property in Fort Worth.

Could this be at the original Cooks location on W Lancaster behind the Masonic Temple.

Thanks for sharing, good read. As a former Austinite, the Austin Motel is a classic. Based on the their portfolio they would excel in a place like Magnolia (back from the dead hotel?), South Main, Stockyards, or the possible hotel in West Bend.

Based on the their portfolio they would excel in a place like Magnolia (back from the dead hotel?), South Main, Stockyards, or the possible hotel in West Bend.

I didn't even think about the Magnolia hotel.

Would be good to revisit.

The Magnolia Hotel was supposed to be built on the northeast corner of W. Magnolia Ave. and S. Henderson St.
