I have been real busy at work since the first of the year, and I didn't realize that tomorrow is the last Friday in January.  Do you want to meet for lunch, or would you like to wait until February?

I enjoyed it, as well.  It was a nice break from my busy work schedule.  For those of you who might be interested, Halbach-Dietz Architects have been busy so far in 2019.

This Friday is the scheduled day for the February Forum Meet at Benito's on Magnolia.  We will meet around 11:45 that day for a friendly discussion on Fort Worth topics.  The date is February 22nd.

I'm still doing student newscasts on Fridays, so I probably won't be able to attend for the next few months.

You know that attending is always optional.  If you can make it, that would be great, but things sometimes get in the way.

In order to have more participation, I'm going to promote the next Fort Worth Forum Meeting two weeks in advance.  It will be Friday, May 31, 2019 at Benito's.  We will meet a little before 12 PM.

Of course, since I have not the slightest idea what anyone looks like except Austin55 who often works just below my office, you will have to tell me the secret handshake I need to identify someone so I sit with the right people for lunch.

Benito's is not typically packed for lunch and it's not a huge place.  We'll probably be pretty obvious.  My profile picture really is me, albeit a slightly younger version.

We will try to get a table in the main dining room.  I will also call ahead and say that there is a group under the name of Roberts that will be dining in.  Usually all you have to do is tell them at the front there is a group and they will show you the tables where groups are sitting.  Then you can walk to the tables to ask.  However, I will call ahead of time to make sure.

If I am going to make a "reservation", I will need a little more accurate account of who will be attending.  Right now, I have three.

I just found out this weekend that a family member has passed away.  His funeral is on Friday Morning, the day of our Forum Meeting.  I still should be able to make it.  I will also call Benito's ahead of time to give them a rough count of how many will be there.  The reservation will be under the name of Roberts.  If I am late to the meeting, I know you all will understand.

My intention to be there.  I heard there might be a natural gas issue around that demolition for the Quick Trip or whatever, so uber might have to weave around it.

I want to thank everyone for showing up today.  We had a total of seven forum members.  Two were first timers to our forum meetings.  For those of you who could not make it, Doohickie, FunkyTownTay, Roverone, Hipolyte, Dylan, and CFerguson were in attendance.  I want to thank all of you for showing up and making lunch pleasurable.

I had every intention of making it out, but I've been buried at work this week dealing with the passing of a coworker, amongst other things.  I hit the ground running at 8:30 this morning and looked up and it was 1:00.
