More residential and commercial growth in the southwest Fort Worth area, this time Crowley.  A lot of this development I attribute to the attraction of transportation infrastructure in this area, particularly the Chisholm Trail Parkway.  Article in FWBP below.

The description of the site- just north of downtown Crowley between CTP and I-35W- is pretty vague.  Where is this exactly?

It is in the northern ETJ of Crowley, bounded by future McPherson Blvd on the north, Crowley Rd on the east, Industrial Blvd on the south and future McCart Ave on the west.  Karis-Community-Plan-2019-07.jpghttps://www.karistx.com/

That's about 2 miles (as the crow flies) south of our old house in Meadowcreek neighborhood.  We were there for 20 years and they were always talking about Risinger going through (it does now finally) and McPherson and McCart going all the way through (they will soon I guess).

All of those extensions and connections were in the City's Master Thoroughfare Plan even before you moved here.  I remember talk about making McPherson and Risinger major east/west roads and taking McCart all the way to Burleson when I was much younger.

If you want to see the current Master Thoroughfare Plan on the City's Interactive Website, you can go to this link and then click on the Master Thoroughfare Plan button to turn on the streets and their future locations.  https://mapit.fortwo.../?viewer=zoning

Planned Hulen and McCart extensions are still in Crowley and Burleson's MTPs as well and will be needed more than ever. This area is growing like a weed. Every week, they are clearing brush and doing earthwork for the latest DR Whoreton-esque subdivision flavour of the month.

Cool tool!

I'm relieved to see that a McPherson connector is part of the master plan. For right now, it's a perfect dead end street for our teenager to practice left turns!
