It would seem like a good spot for a flat-iron style building like the one a few blocks to the east.

While I agree that a station at Beach is a great idea, I don't know that this station closing created any inconvenience that wasn't already there.  The new one is less than a mile down the track and a mile and a quarter away over roads.  No one was walking to the Richland Hills station and anyone that was driving to it will drive to the new one.

When you posted that in italics, I assumed you were quoting someone else, not yourself.

I grew up a few miles away from The Rig and it was a punchline for us.

Someone in our house: What do you guys want for dinner?

Someone else: Let's go to The Rig!

Everyone else: NO!

At a conservative estimate of half of the spaces being filled daily at a cost of $10 per day, that's a little over a million dollars per year.

They'll never get a developer if the Cheesecake Factory can't serve a drink with dinner.

You need alcohol to help you forget that their food is terrible.

#150874 TCU's massive campus transformation continues

You can never say that TCU has any sort of funding problem.  I was in Atlanta over the weekend and I visited with a man from California that took his daughter on a college visit to TCU in the last couple of years.  He had nothing but good things to say about the school and the city.

Serious work has started on this in the last week.  Lots of grading and some utility work.

I drove home down Forest Park one evening this week and noticed that there's some sort of projector screen on the roof facing the pool on the building to the north of the one of the one in your photo.  It looks huge.  That's a nice amenity.

That area between 114, Northwest Highway, and O'Connnor has changed a lot over the last 10 years.  We've been to events at the convention center several times and the convenience of Toyota Music Factory being right next door is great.

I didn't think that Arlington would get the final.  I felt all along like it would end up in New York/New Jersey or Los Angeles.  I don't see any reason why anyone should be diappointed.  9 games including a semi-final match is an amazing consolation prize.

Well, I can mark experiencing an earthquake from the 15th floor of a hotel off of my bucket list.

As humid and gray as it, the weather is actually pleasant this morning.  I worked outside without a jacket for awhile.

I remember you mentioning that last summer.  How did it function without an Arby's or Wal Mart across the parking lot?
