They can't even agree on if the traffic will increase or decrease due to the proposed new apartments:

The city staffs narrative is pretty straightforward: this project meets mu2 zoning and should have been granted by right, except for the previous PD on it. I dont get the Montgomery plaza homeowners issue. Would you rather have a dollar store with a bazillion surface lot spots or a super target thats making tons of money and bringing in fresh produce because its turning over. People complain for the sake of complaining

No surprise theyre selling. They have run out of ideas and see the writing on the wall. Revolving door of failed restaurants and businesses from a myriad of reasons
1) parking was a mess/making the streets one way was dumb. Really dumb.
2) gun violence at night
3) other areas in the city were more appealing to tenants and their customers clear fork, west bend, magnolia, university park village
4) businesses/restaurants that have tried to stick it out, cant find workers

*sigh*

Okay, I'm sorry, but I'm not understanding the "parking issues" and never will. To me, that just seems overblown. Same thing with the one way streets. I really don't see how that's an actual problem.

And as far as the gun violence (which is more a city/metro/nationwide issue), I think that has more to do with the bars than Crockett Row, itself. I know it's in proximity, but doesn't most everything shut down on CR around 10-11?
