I just drove by this afternoon and saw what everyone mentioned.  Sorry, I thought it was strange to put another bridge there but it all makes sense now.

Does anyone know what is going on in trinity park?  Looks like they are realigning several streets and have certain areas blocked off from driving through.  I have not seen any plans for the entire project.  Has anyone else?

I've ridden my bike through there.  I think it's just routine maintenance, including paving several parking lots.  There is some kind of pumping machinery under the freeway bridges at the south end that takes up the whole road so that road is closed; it looks like it's only temporary but who knows?  In other spots, I think that they closed roads because they are using them for staging areas for rocks and dirt used for the projects they are doing.

EDIT:  I think it's safe to say that the park will be cleaned up and fully accessible by May.

Does anyone know what is going on near the entrance to Trinity Park on University?  There is some work being done with a handful of trees wrapped in wood casing typically used to protect them while construction happens around them.  Haven't heard of or seen anything in the forum or elsewhere about this project.  It may be nothing but just thought I would inquire.

Could be related to the road/utility work that's happening on Forest Park, Rogers Road, and University.

I saw the wrapped trees opposite of the Botanical Gardens on the Trinity Park side too.  They also had a ton of temporary fencing up in the park itself like they use for Mayfest crowd control but then I thought Fort Worth 4th was down by Panther Island Pavilion so I'll need to go back and take a closer look next time.
