Howdy, folks!

I don't know how long it's been since my last post here, but I immediately thought about this forum to ask my question.

Yesterday afternoon, I was helping a customer at my work and, by some serendipitous occurrence, the subject of hand modeling came up. The woman immediately informed me that when she was much younger, in the early 1960s, she hand modeled for the Texas Electric Service Company by way of several print ads. If I remember correctly, I believe she said she worked for a local advertising agency she called "Magnusson", and in doing some quick research, it seems as though there was an ad agency called "Magnusson". Further research yielded an obituary, dated April 5, 2015 in memory of one Gordon Neelands Teague, who apparently owned an agency called "Magnusson and Teague".

I find this rather obscure piece of local history fascinating, as I've always had an interest in advertising. Would anyone here remember the agency, and what local ads would we remember from them? Would anyone also know how long their agency was active?

Thanks in advance!

My father actually worked for Magnusson Advertizing throughout my childhood. He last worked there in about 1980. With searches I've done, it was formed in Jan 1971. I think it dissolved in 2008, but I could be wrong.
