I can't read the article, but I suppose this is an effort by MLB to make their draft more of an event like the other professional leagues.

The City of Fort Worth has decided to discontinue the metered parking proposal in the Stockyards.  The story below is from the Fort Worth Report.

I wonder what is going to be done here.  I'm taking a stab in the dark and thinking it is going to be an event space attached to hospitality of some sort.  Although, I'm hoping it stays a restaurant.

Wasn't their new location at 2515 Rodeo Plaza by the John Wayne Hall of Fame supposed to be the Lone Spur Cafe?  Looks like their Bedford location is closed too, so I'm going out on a limb that didn't happen and I didn't miss it happening, but correct me if I'm wrong.  I recall some murmurings about "where's everyone going to park?" I guess you park at the end of the stockyards and walk in like the rest of the dining spot on E. Exchange.

The Current Los Vaqueros Mexican Restaurant is located within the boundary of the Stockyards National Register Historic District.  It has no other historic designations.

The La Plaza Building where the restaurant will be relocating is also located within the Stockyards National Register Historic District, the City of Fort Worth Stockyards Historic District, and is individually designated as Demolition Delay.
