Here's some wonderful portraits I've taken so far in April, all of which have Fort Worth's urban landscape in the background. I've only done photography since January, most of which has been landscape/urban/architectural photography up until this point. I had an opportunity to do a photoshoot this past Tuesday (April 16), and discovered that I really liked portraiture. The lady in the blue hair even messaged me to say that she enjoyed the experience and that she had never been photographed like this before!
The fourth picture was not part of the aforementioned April 16th photoshoot; I took that particular picture back on April 5th, after I offered to take a picture (and she said I could take her picture), prior to a fashion show I attended at The Modern. All of the other pictures were from my April 16th photoshoot, taken in Sundance Square and across downtown Fort Worth.
I hope you enjoy these photos:
I've discovered that I enjoy capturing people in their element, experiencing their most expressive moments. I think I just found my new calling in life.
