I've always had a soft spot for MCM churches, and Trinity Lutheran is one of the best examples in FW. The church is undergoing an expansion project currently, with a groovy design that compliments the existing architecture.

The orange brick building has a triangular plan that fans out to the south where the addition is being made, providing a new entry, elevator, offices, restrooms, classroom, and check-in for the full-time preschool that operates in the facility. 

 

Feels like they've been grinding away at this project forever! Between this and the Bowie House hotel and townhomes project across Camp Bowie, the area has had a great deal of construction commotion the last two years. I'll be glad to see how the neighborhood feel settles down when this project is finished.
