What does this mean? Is there a new Japanese restaurant opening where the arcade is at the old live oak location? If so, the name is so similar to Shinjuku Station which was so close to this spot.
That was my guess, maybe keeping the arcade but adding a sushi spot inside perhaps? So far no indication the arcade is closed / closing.

There’s the rooftop bar that has previously been advertised as an in-house ‘tiki’ bar. Perhaps they are adding a new theme and marketing the rooftop as a new concept to draw more folks in.

It appears that this renovation will demolish the community center building, except for the old fire station, and then build new from that and expand the building over the tennis court. It also appears that the playground will be moved eastward to accommodate a new parking lot.

They did move into the building quite some time back. Also, there are signs already installed on the north and west sides of the building. I can't tell from the permit, but maybe they are replacing the existing signs with something new.
