I have always heard that the lobby would be preserved. However, if you take the quote literally, that means nothing of the interior would be left. Maybe, I'm being too alarmist here.
Years ago, I worked for an architectural firm that did a few minor modifications inside the building and with the exception of the lobby, a few ground floor spaces, and the offices that were on the Lancaster side of the building on the upper floors, most of the building was completely utilitarian and can be remodeled with all of the modern requirements of the city (or any tenant).
