I won't know if I can make it until Friday morning.  I have a service tech coming over between 8 and 12.  If they get here early and finish I can be there but I won't know until I know, you know?

I was thinking about it but was feeling kind of worn out.  Good thing I didn't:  Turned out to be the beginnings of Covid.  I've been sick all week.... not severe but definitely sick.  My wife tested positive on Saturday and I was still negative.  I finally tested again this morning and it was positive.

I had some misfortune. My neighbors tree fell in my backyard and severed my power line on Wednesday around 8 PM. I have been trying to get repairs done since then. The electrician is coming at 7 in the morning and Im going to tell him that I have a meeting at lunch.

Did I miss a big wind storm or something or was it just a sick old dead tree? What bad timing to lose power with this heat wave. Id hope their insurance takes care of your displacement. Give them your receipt for lunch at Benitos too since you cant cook at home tomorrow.

Nitixope, it was a sick live tree. This is going to be a big hassle for me. The house is now 90 degrees inside. I will tell you all more at lunch. Whoever gets there first, you might tell them up to 10. I am going to be able to make it.

By the way Harrison Mantas cancelled yesterday, and responded by e-mail to my office address.  Over the last two days, I had not paid any attention to my office e-mail.  One of the reasons I wasn't checking it, is that I am actually slack at the office.

Very cool synopsis of the complex transactions affecting the LV Strip we see today. I have only lived here a little more than a year and have seen and am seeing tremendous changes in the built landscape. Unrelated; Only one or two members of this list may know of my indirect connection with the rescue of the Thailand football team from the flooded cave.

The September Forum Meeting is scheduled for Friday, the 29th.  I have been called for Jury Duty starting on Monday, the 25th.  I have never served on a jury that ran all week, but I wanted to let you all know that if I can't make it, this is the reason.
