There was also a similar one on the SW corner of Jacksboro Hwy and Long Ave. The snow cone building were the brainchild of a child actually. I remember seeing his story on the tv show "That's Incredible". He had the idea and his dad helped him implement it. There were all over the place in the 80's

I wonder what is going to be done here. I'm taking a stab in the dark and thinking it is going to be an event space attached to hospitality of some sort. Although, I'm hoping it stays a restaurant.

Rriojas71, you should. It's a great place to visit. Every year, the Fort Worth Bicycling Association has a 3 day ride in the Davis Mountains, starting in Fort Davis. On the second day, the route goes from Fort Davis, to Alpine, to Marfa, and back to Fort Davis.
Thanks for the info JTR. We are actually going next weekend. Not for a bike ride though. I want to make it back alive. Maybe after my knee gets a bit better.

Looks like I better take a trip to Marfa soon before it totally changes.

It's just a size comparison to give you an idea how much land there is available for this.
Yeah I get that. It makes sense. I'm just looking forward to this getting going. If it's even half of what they are wanting to do then I will still be very pleased.
