Do we know if any of the potential Meacham carriers have been looking at McKinney Airport as well? As a start-up consumer airport, McKinney Airport seems in a similar position as Meacham.  Tarrant County has twice the population as Collin, but Collin has a bigger business traveler population. Just curious.

McKinney National Airport has come up in our discussion of Meacham possibly resuming commercial service. Now there's enough news from McKinney to merit its own thread.

The terminal project is $72 million, 45,000 square feet, with three gates expandable to five. It could host passenger service as early as late 2026, and the city is in discussions with two low-cost airlines to operate there.
