The other night there was an opening party with an apparently famous dance group and DJ. I didn't see any coverage of the opening party on any of the local news outlets nor print media. IMHO, events like this can help boost tourism and the image of Fort Worth as more of an international city.

Agreed. Fort Worth's art museums are its greatest assets. Unless there is a coordinated strategy to downplay them to control crowds perhaps (?), they should get much more local media attention. (They get quite a bit of attention in the rarified art world.) And a 4 - 5 star boutique hotel should be within walking distance.
