Esoterica Salon on W. 7th turns into Esoterica Lounge on weekend nights. Don't run with those scissors... you might spill your cocktail!

Next on their agenda, a musical.

Think HAIRSPRAY. dry.gif

Heard about their idea last fall. Didn't think they'd actually go through it.

I happen to stumble in this place the first weekend it was open. The music was too loud and it wasn't really my thing. I'm a big fan of Ten that is in the same shopping center. It looks like most people are outside (maybe it is because the music is so loud).

It is an interesting concept. I'm interested to know how they got an alcohol permit for a hair salon.

I hear an even better concept "KNOCKOUTS" is coming to the shopping center on Univ. and 7th. A haircut place with "Hooters" like girls and a FREE mug of cold beer! smile.gif

It's a different crowd that rolls with them. Sort of "the scene" kind of folks in DTFW. Very nice peoples though, just OUT THERE?

If they SELL the drinks, then it is a bar that is a state licensed salon. If the drinks are FREE, then it is just a salon.

A friend of mine was DJ'ing there on Friday nights, but I think they just do Saturday nights now...

Also, another friend of mine who was a stylist at Esoterica has opened his own shop, CUT, on 8th Ave. next to McCool's...
