Yes, we were just informed today to change all of the title blocks on our drawings for them to the new logo, name, etc. For those of you who do not know, my firm does work in both the towers and the square.
I will update Architecture in Fort Worth to make my part official.

It begs the question, "what are the ends to this separation?" This is most curious.

When this information first came about in November, I tried to express what a big deal this is.
But we won't really know how it turns out for a while...

The website is well done, very professional looking. I hope this attracts future businesses to become tenants in these fabulous office towers. I note the City Club ad, and I like City Club. With apologies to the chef, but you need to serve a more imaginative cuisine for professional luncheons--the last one I attended the meat slices were a bit tough, but the sliced cake dessert was magnifique!

On loopnet the towers are the highest advertised place, they are trying hard to market them it seems.

I'll say it again, this is most curious. What is up with SS?

Several of the interiors that my office designed are featured on their new website.

These buildings are still looking good, but I think they really need to update the lobby/first floor entrances. They look really dark and cave-like. In order to compete with newer product, they've got to brighten and open those spaces up. Not to be catty, but lucky for them, they have little competition in this town.

Its not really being catty to point out some economic reality. There is competition now and there is going to be more competition coming. There are independent blocks in Downtown that out side investors will be pursuing for projects to come.
The way to out do the competition is to deliver something brand new.; and I continue to believe that this will be their redemption.

I think it's interesting to note that 12 years back the buildings were for sale. I had forgotten about that.

Austin, I don't know. I have noticed that every so often they are turned off for a period for window washing and maintenance.

The granite floors are original in each lobby, right?
IMO the challenge with buildings like that are to update without undoing the essence and appeal of the original design. I think the glass and steel/chrome have aged well, in part because designed so well to begin with.
I've personally always thought the Texas granite seems like it was a concession to use regional materials, but the pink color never really fit with the otherwise gray/silver color/material palette. I dont know if they've updated it but the c-store and cafe at lobby level of Tower 2 always seemed like an oversight of the buildings - not in keeping with the otherwise careful design. Maybe they've been updated/changed in recent years.
I think the restroom updates a few years ago were unsuccessful aesthetically. They went with porcelain tile that IMO looks really generic and lacking the design discipline as the rest of the buildings.

Okay, I'm confused. What is it you think might go so wrong with this?

Burnett Plaza also hosts one: https://www.facebook...imbforacalling/

Even in Dallas and Fort Worth. There's been one in Burnett Plaza for a few years and there's a regular one in the BOA building in Dallas.
Edit: Austin beat me to it.
