I sort of agree with you. Some of the Super Bowl commercials are fairly creative with modern video technology. Having stated that, the problem with these ads, in my view, is that some are irrelevant to the actual product being advertised. Maybe that's more marketing hyperbole than stupidity. I didn't see all the ads, because I was watching another show during the game. But, for example, a Budweiser ad featured a horse in a picturesque setting but no beer. Yes, I know Budweiser is proud of its Clydesdales and features them in their commercials. But show us your delicious Bud Lites!

Delicious Bud Lites? Really? Any horses are probably a better symbol of "quality". Just my 4.2%...

I actually didn't watch the game at all. Both of these sentences apply to the Young LeBron/Old LeBron ad for Crypto.com (I think?) I gather they CGI'ed Young LeBron from old videos and got someone to play his voice (or manipulated Old LeBron's voice to sound younger). But the writer of the dialogue seemed to like is clichéd words ("The future sure is krunk!" ) And that seems to be the most repeated ad on the TV I watch. At this point I can't turn it down fast enough. Ugh.
