I'm planning to do a photography meet for the forum this Saturday. Let's meet at 9:00 AM in Sundance Square Plaza. Who is interesting in attending? I will host this, and I won't cancel out, unless I'm sick or something like that.

Well, it looks like that there are only two of us coming, right now. Please let us know if you can make it.

We need more photographers coming. You don't have to be a Fort Worth Forum member to attend.

I'm no photographer and I would love to come, but I have to work. I have a rare Saturday off at the end of this month to celebrate my daughter's birthday.

I understand. I have spent many Saturdays working. Spend the time with your daughter. Even though I would like more people to come, I am not offended by lack of attendance. Even if no one but myself shows up, I will take photos of the Frost Tower to later post here, so it would not be a loss of time. Also, I live real close to downtown, so it is very easy for me to make the trip.

Is there a particular agenda you are thinking of? sites you want to hit?

There's no agenda. We will just show up and walk and take photographs.

Will there be a photograph of the Flat Iron/hotel complex?

The Bass Hall tour is definitely worth the time, if any of you have not done it before.

I will be in the plaza at 9:00 AM, if not earlier. I will try to be away from any activities that are going on near the stage and fountain area. I will have my camera with me, so I should be fairly easy to spot.

Only PeopleAreStrange showed up. We had a good time and I'm sorry that other forum members couldn't attend. From time to time, I will do this again.

Rename, you asked for a photo of the Park Central Inn conversion and the two unit condominium built between the Flatiron and hotel. I took several shots, but this one is probably the best overall I could get. I did take one looking north, but the street trees block the view of the new building. Due to the antique auto show with the streets barricaded, I couldn't get a good photo from 9th and Houston looking southwest.

That doesn't even look like the same building. I'm not head over heels in love with it, but it's a huge improvement.

It's not the best design in the world, but is looks so much better than the old Park Central Inn. I also don't know if it is worth adding as an architecturally significant building to the website.
