NBC is currently showing some nice shots of Fort Worth during SNF, refreshing.

Same during the TCU game last night. Quite a few aerial shots showing off the lighting in Sundance Square.

It seems Fort Worth has received a ton of national attention the past two days.

Our skyline is being shown on national TV, and the world's most popular boy band (BTS) held two concerts here in Fort Worth this weekend.

Before the first BTS concert (15th), dozens of people on Twitter were mocking the Fort Worth CC's size, and making jokes about how it was infested with rats and roaches.

During both concerts, one performer made Fort Worth puns... "I hope this [2.5 hours] was Fort worth it for you guys..." "We're in Fort (4th) Worth, but you guys are my first worth..."

After the concerts, people on Twitter suddenly seem jealous of Fort Worth.

We're one of six stops they're making in North America this year.

Jeez, they sure were bashing Fort Worth. Were crusty? News to me.

To be fair, the convention center arena is getting pretty long in the tooth.

I'm not a Tweeter, but reading through those above, the Tweet-o-sphere appears to have its own vernacular.  I didn't understand any of it.  BTW, the rat sweeping takes place in a New York City subway station (I suppose the point is lost on me).

Yes, but we have Dickies Arena nearly "lock and loaded" to fire and expect that then the praises to come rolling in.

what in the world is a BTS hahaha pop music is such a fleeting thing

when I was in college in Denton, one of our gang always said Forth Worth by mistake.... and we tormented him to the breaking point. I hadn't remembered that in so long.

anyway, the city did look great with the TCU purple all over downtown; I especially liked the way the Sundance Square purple was reflected by the neighboring skyscrapers.

I will admit that downtown looked pretty good in the promos.
