What does this mean? Is there a new Japanese restaurant opening where the arcade is at the old live oak location? If so, the name is so similar to Shinjuku Station which was so close to this spot.

That was my guess, maybe keeping the arcade but adding a sushi spot inside perhaps?  So far no indication the arcade is closed / closing.

There’s the rooftop bar that has previously been advertised as an in-house ‘tiki’ bar. Perhaps they are adding a new theme and marketing the rooftop as a new concept to draw more folks in.

There’s several locations throughout the Metroplex. I’d highly recommend going as a great way to unwind. It neither has a kids or adults vibe to it. Though it’s open later for 21+. You can bring kids, or like me grab a beer or two to play pinball.

Glad they are including outdoor seating to open up the street a bit. Not much space, but following the footsteps of Low Doubt and Down N Out with low key, billiards vibe. Need to look on TAD if this parking lot is part of the property or owned by someone else.

It appears that this renovation will demolish the community center building, except for the old fire station, and then build new from that and expand the building over the tennis court.  It also appears that the playground will be moved eastward to accommodate a new parking lot.

That's a nice summary, there is a lot of money pouring into the hospitals and many of them are in need of it.

Sign permits filed for VLK's office at 1320 HEMPHILL ST, Fort Worth TX 76104.

 

I thought they moved in here a while back, could be just new signage at 701?

They did move into the building quite some time back.  Also, there are signs already installed on the north and west sides of the building.  I can't tell from the permit, but maybe they are replacing the existing signs with something new.

Looks like they incorporated that beautiful oak in the plan. Hopefully it’s well taken care of.
