Update on Lincoln Square via DMN: https://www.dallasne...lanning-zoning/
(wish DMN's original images were a little more crisp but I expanded the width 2x, not sure that helped)

Kinda hope this is the beginning of bigger, but knowing Arlington... I doubt it.

That's because Arlington Highlands is a traditional strip mall with nice finishes. There is absolutely nothing urban or dense about it. I've never once been to a restaurant there and not been able to park directly in front of it because everything is surrounded by a sea of parking.
I'm not buying the whining about Toyota Music Factory either. I've been for lunch on a weekday and had no issue parking my truck. Parking isn't hurting them either. The place has been packed any time I've been on nights or weekends to concerts or events at the convention center.
I wouldn't get used to that parking lot in front of Texas Live either. If the area continues to develop, it won't be there forever. It tarnishes the vibe of the area a bit if you ask me.
