Mid Cent/Googie disappointment

We posted an old "last days of Panther Hall" pic on the Remember In FW. . . FB page. Was not at all surprised that the comments were 99% memories of C&W, memories are what that page is for.
But we were disappointed that not a single comment responded to the text of our post-- we hailed the the mid-cent roofline and mentioned the  lost Vandergriff building in Arlingtion.
Are there any extant buildings with such extravagant rooflines?
