The Fort Worth Report has an article about how Tarrant County College is training the future film workforce.  With all of the filming being done here in the city and throughout North Texas, this is great news.  Below is the link written by Seth Bodine and Olla Mokhtar.

My son as an Associates in Radio, Television & Film from TCC NE and is currently working as a control room tech at Nexstar Media Group in Irving.  They broadcast dozens of stations from that studio including CW33 locally.

 

It looks like the program is shifting to fill targeted specialties needed by the expanding film industry in the area.
