Kincaid's Hamburgers started out as the Charles Kincaid Grocery & Market in 1946. That was the year their building was constructed. O.R. Gentry was the head butcher, and in 1964, he started cooking burgers for their customers. The burgers were so popular that over time, the burger restaurant took over the entire store. He eventually purchased the store, and it still remains in the family today. The building is of the design of a typical Mid-Century grocery store.
