Church of Christ the King and All Saints

3290 Lackland Rd. - 1907; 1975; 1976

This small wooden church, constructed in 1907, was built as the First United Methodist Church of Buckner in Parker County. After serving as a church, the building was used for a hay barn for a number of years on its original site. It was moved to Fort Worth by Christ the King Episcopal Church in 1975, by sawing it in five sections, and then making the transport.  The church was then put back together and opened in 1976. It serves as the church's sanctuary.  An education building, constructed in 1975 sits behind the old church.
