William E. & Jean Tucker Technology Center
2840 W. Bowie St. - 2002
The Tucker Technology Center is one of the newer buildings on the Texas
Christian University Campus. Hahnfeld Hoffer Stanford Architects of
Fort Worth was the lead Architect for the project and the Architect of
Record. The building was designed by Ellerbee Beckett of Los Angeles, who
served as Associate Architects. Although still partially
clad in TCU yellow brick, this structure has two curved glass walls.
One is on the east side of the building and is visible from Bowie Street.
The other curved wall faces north and faces the university's main east/west
pedestrian circulation. When most of the lights are left on at night,
the building has a very unique glow. |
