Historic Sinclair Service Station

3725 McCart Ave. - 1950

This Sinclair Service Station was built in 1950 and somehow managed to survive on McCart Avenue in the Rosemont Neighborhood. It was restored by Paul Lemon in 2010. The original paint scheme was discovered beneath all of the layers of paint that had been put on the building over the years. Mr. Lemon has restored all of the original paint and the building features original Sinclair gas pumps. An authentic Sinclair Dinosaur has been placed on the roof. A restored pick-up truck with a Sinclair livery usually sits beneath the canopy. Inside, there is Sinclair memorabilia. These items are located inside the office and inside the garage bays. In 2011, Historic Fort Worth, Inc. gave the station a Preservation Award.
