These are two historic commercial buildings sitting side by side on 8th Avenue at W. Allen Street. The southernmost, was built in 1927 and for many years was the home of the 8th Avenue Pharmacy. It features a red clay tile roof with decorative brackets and columns that extend through that roof. The neon sign on the south side of the building has also been preserved. The northernmost building is not as ornamented, but does have some nice brick detailing near the top of the parapet. These two buildings were restored in 2006.
