The Sheraton Fort Worth Hotel and Spa features two 12 story towers that were constructed in 1974 and 1980. The hotel is situated across from the Fort Worth Water Gardens. When it first opened, the hotel was branded as a Hilton Inn, but later as a Ramada Plaza Hotel, and later, the Fort Worth Plaza Hotel. The hotel was remodeled in early 2006 for renovations and conversion into a Sheraton.
The Sheraton Fort Worth Hotel and Spa, located on the property at the intersection of Commerce and Lancaster streets downtown, features 430 guest rooms with flat panel HD TVs and complimentary Wi-Fi internet access, 24 hour room service, 22,000 square feet of meeting and exhibit space, and a business center with wireless connectivity, two on-site restaurants, and an 8,000 square foot full-service luxury spa and fitness center featuring a yoga and Pilates studio and treatment rooms.
