Carnegie Library Scrapbook

29 November 2013 - 12:56 AM

Reference is made many times in the "Federal Writers Project" to the Carnegie Library Scrapbook. It is my understanding the scrapbook was on display at the Carnegie Public Library. Howard Peak had several items represented in the book. However, I have not been able to trace its current location including the Central Library Archives. I would be interested in any information or leads. I am particularly interested in information about John White who "was in command" of the ox team that hauled freight between Fort Worth and Houston. Several references are made to him from the scrapbook material, but I would like to read the piece by Peak about him in its entirety. He was my 2nd great grandfather.
