I hope they would include a commuter-like piggyback rail for peoples cars too. Goes from SA to Austin 4 or 5 times a day, seperate from the passenger rail. Would be an excellent idea and make a mint too. I'd pay $55+ a month (SA to Austin) for unlimited weekday service, plus an extra $55 to DFW unlimited too.
Just an idea though. :swg:

It will probably cost more than $55 a month. I pay $70 a month for a monthly pass to Dallas now.

I didn't say they had an Air Force base just an Air Force. It was made up of a couple of students in the '60's that would fly by Heights and drop balloons with purple paint.

As far as size of the school my brother's graduating class was made up of about 1000 students. My class was 640. My children graduated in 2000 and 2002 with classes easily under 400. Paschal has more room now than it ever did when I was there.

I do agree though the additions on the front covered up some of the best parts of the school.

Paschal was the original Fort Worth High School and will remain the HIGH SCHOOL for Fort Worth. When JFK visited FW he requested to be driven by Paschal as it was the only high school he knew of that had their own Air Force.

HEIGHTS BITES!!!

CLASS OF 75

PS. I come from a long line of Paschalites.

The reason they are closing it is a matter of finances. It became too expensive to be able to continue. The decission was made over a year ago that would be the last class. The Masonic order is not as popular as it use to be so they are suffering some financial hardships.
