Any gardening experts out there that might be able to tell me what this is? I tried photographing the whole plant, but it's in area so overgrown you can't discern it in the picture. It's about 10' tall, very thorny and "brambly" and is in moderate to heavy shade most of the day. My first guess was some sort of hawthorn or less-cultivated rose. It appears to be a large shrub or small multi-trunked tree.
