As a realtor and investor there are lots “HGTV” specials out there. The more you see the more confidence you will get. The downside of this hot market you don’t get much time to think before someone else snaps it up, which in turn generates more to try their hand at flipping.

I doubt they were going to build a retirement center but sell for a retirement center. My two cents this is a strategy to get price up

Back to the report..... The planning department is certainly causing some of the issues. Spoke to a developer today that is fairly well connected and his comments were he has been planning this new development for over a year now and still trying to get all the departments to align. He predicts another 6 months to be vertical. I personally have had issues in the past few weeks on getting permits approved. The staff is friendly but always leading me to believe their hands are tied. Streamline the process!

So for two years I worked at the far reaches of Fort Worth (Alliance and Independence Parkway). My VP would fly in monthly from NYC and want to go to dinner. His imperssion of a Fort Worth was Alliance area assumed we were a big suburb. Dinner was always in Southlake, I tried every time to try something Magnolia or Downtown but he couldn’t understand that we are independent and have urban amenities.

Not sure exactly how to solve it but image matters and changing Molly out won’t solve that.

Finally watched tonight. It was overall, fair assessment of prices in area and good rehab. Scenes around town were all what I would consider heart of the city and not all cowboys. I will watch it again.
