In the May 9th edition of the Star-Telegram, (in the Bud Kennedy article about Congressman Jim Wright), it read Wright attended William James Elementary School. This is the time I ever heard of this school. Can someone post its location?

I had never heard of William James Elementary School.  There is a William James Middle School, located at 1101 Nashville Ave.  It is listed here on this site at: http://www.fortworth...st/wmjames.htm.  I was thinking that the old Poly High School, located one block to the southeast, might have been William James Elementary, but it became Poly Elementary School before it was closed and eventually demolished.

It seems that Bud Kennedy pulled that "William James Elementary School" reference from the book, "Profiles in Power: Twentieth-Century Texans in Washington", New Edition.
